I mowed yesterday, not because it really needed it, but because there are chances of isolated rain/storms for the next several days so I wanted to have it cut down now so I know I'll not need to mess with it again for another week or so. Also, I don't mow on Sunday and that was the only day they were showing that might have been a good day to mow.

God has been gracious to our area we have heat, humidity, had high temps, but our grass still looks good...my flowering bushes look wilted by the end of the day but they are perked up in the morning...I really love the nice weather, the heat... I am not in favor of colder weather...the winter only gives me pleasure by the beauty of the snow when I look out my window...making the dead look of winter brighter ....sure reminds me of a verse...Job 37:5-6 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
