Our Chinese new year vacation is finally over, and this is the first week we'll be back in some sort of routine, and I'm SO GLAD! That vacation was so long, and I like routine best.

I'm trying to make sure our homeschooling is on track so the main things will be completed by sometime in May. I'm also looking at different options for high school which our oldest son will be ready for this year. I'll also have to evaluate our youngest son and determine what he will need for the new school year. Also, I'll have to be deciding if they need any booster work during the summer; if so what and if not, what projects they can work on this summer besides the garden.

Sounds good! When my hubby was only 9 years old, he started working for a sweet corn farmer in his area during the summers. He's so glad he learned to work hard at an early age.

I have a weird neighbor who tried to get us in trouble because our sons would help with the yard work! :roll

He came out the door yelling at me one day and ranted and raved about my then 13 year old son doing some raking in the yard. The nice thing about a small town is that I'm familiar with his life so I said something like I didn't know he didn't do any work until he was an adult. He took the bait and started in on how he did this that and the other thing around the home when he was just a kid. After he finished I looked him in the eye and said, "It's terrible your dad abused you like that." (He had accused me of abusing my kids because they were doing yard work) I could see it in his eyes he realized what had just happened and he wanted to hit me so bad he actually made a fist!
