Anyway, there aren't many people that can say they stand on an AV1611 either since you most likely hold a revised KJV from the 18th or 19th century.

Uhmm, If you want to go that direction, you would have to throw out anything that was translated out of the TR. Take a look, not all TR editions are identical.

I guess I'm just wondering "why" it is the only Bible for English-speakers. I do believe it is the best we have but I'm not really sure how it is all so much better than the Geneva, for example, which is very close to the same wording as the KJV. A LOT of people tell me it is the best but, aside from the fact that it is accurate to the originals, no one has ever given me a reason why it is better than another accurately translated Bible. It seems that when people get a hold of the KJVO doctrine, it often controls them. I know most here aren't anything like that, but I have seen the doctrine taken so far that it isn't even funny. Are we making the KJV something it isn't?

It wasn't a big deal, I was just pointing out that it isn't a 1611 edition. It's not something I want to debate. But I'm not sure why I would throw it out. I didn't mean to imply that the KJV is less of a Bible because of it, if that is what you thought I was saying.

I realize that Kevin. I just think it is a week argument to use the revisions to show that the KJV is not perfectly preserved, especially if you are a TR believer.

Me either. I can agree to disagree. :thumb

Oh I wasn't trying to say that it wasn't perfectly preserved because of the revisions. I was really just pointing it out, nothing more. It just seems like that is something a lot of straight down the line KJVO people tout and so I mentioned the revisions.

How many of you know that the KJV, when it was being translated, made prophecies that were not in the original document, prophecies 400+ years into the future that have proven to be 100% true.

How many know that Daniel's book wasn't to opened until the time of the end, The KJ begin opening that book??

God is always "Ahead" of man, making a way, and for a great English speaking Christian based nation, they would need the Bible in their language, 1611 the bible came, 1620 the Pilgrims came.

There's a little more to the KJ than meets the eye.

Can we have an example?

Unless it is from Ruckman, then just skip it.

I am absolutely confused by your post, but it seems you are looking for some mystical proofs that the KJV is superior. I don't care for mysticism very much, but if you'd like to shed some more light on this, we are going to need a little more then some statements without any real data to back them up.
