Anyone have a child who is on Singulair Chewables? My son was on these as an anti-inflammatory for his hives (even though they are primarily an asthma drug), but his new doctor took him off and switched him to a new combination of medicines. The Singulair is expensive (even on insurance) and I still have like 18 chewable pills left. I'd rather give them to someone who can use them rather than throw them away or let them sit and get outdated. I thought I'd mention it here first since you all pretty much know me so you know the pills are safe! I prefer sending them to someone who actually has a prescription for the drug to help out with costs, please don't ask for them because you want to "try them out" just in case your child would have some kind of reaction.

Thanks!

Save them you might need them again.

Yeah but they'll expire, I can't see needing them? The meds he is on now control the hives better than that ever did.

I probably won't use it, but want to make sure people know the mg or they will use it on their babies! (they make singular for babies now... but it is powdery instead of chewable. So parents can put them in applesauce)

my son's old allergist put him on singular, the very same type you are using. But I felt it was making him too wired so I took him off.

btw, how do you like your new doctor?

The new doctor is fine...put him on meds the other doctors weren't sure about so the hives are easier to control now. The dr has some really good credentials online so I'm pretty confident with her work even though the hives are frustrating. thanks!
