My Dad

My Dad found out today that the company he works for will be closing the plant he works in. There is a position in VA that is open within the company, but he is not sure if he wants to try to make that move or not. Please, pray for wisdom for my father as he has some tough decisions to make right now.

My Dad lost his job just before I went off to college in 1991 with the company he worked for at the time. He has been in and out of work until around 3 years ago now with the current company. He has held many other positions, but the companies let him go - after he had to train in his replacements.

My Mom is just in tears, and very afraid of what will happen now.

A company near here is laying off 550 workers. That's a huge amount in this small area.

That is so hard! I'll pray for them. Did your dad work for Unisys at one time? My dad was laid off by them way back in the late 80's, and he bounced around from job to job for a while until he finally got something solid again. My fil has to bounce from job to job too, and it's very unsettling.
