Just THINKING! You quoted Jesus when he said the SAME THING about the Apostles.

Context..These men were NEVER deity. They were FOLLOWERS of Christ and were one in his mission to redeem mankind. You're definitely NOT "thinking." Your only purpose here is to disrupt, and moderators have been notified of this.

Neither was Jesus.

By focusing on the Bible, instead of Theology?

Jesus was indeed deity... scriptures are clear on this. Your JW ideology doesn't cut it here. Only a part of the Godhead, the Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, living a perfect, sinless life and a substitutionary death, could cleanse us from sin. The Bible IS theology.

I've yet to hear one verse from you stating this Church Dogma. The KJV DOES use the word "Godhead", one, in error.

John 17:3

John 1;11In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not..............................John 1:14 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one"

Jesus himself said: " I and my Father are one." John 10:30

John 14:

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Prove it's in error. Your JW dogma hates it when we ask for proof of this. So, please, prove your assertion. I gave you verses..in fact, the very verses you've used as well. You know, satan is the father of lies, and you're doing a lot of that here.

Do the research- I'm NOT going to do it FOR you.

No ..you made the assertion, it's up to you to back it up. Bute, so far you've not been able to back any of your assertions up, instead dodging all over the place. Sad, really.

You can't goad me into doing the research you would reject anyways. But I admire your zeal!

Thank you for proving you've got no substance...sort of like storm clouds with no rain...just a bunch of hot air.

See:

Matthew 1:

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

God-the-Ghost had sex with Mary????? Or the POWER of God (the holy spirit) enabled Mary to be pregnant.

Many had names with similar meanings. (Emmanuel)

Nobody was even implying that and you know it. Are you just here to stir up trouble? If you ever experienced the filling of the Holy Spirit, you would never be the same. Immanuel means "God with us". Jesus Christ was born as "God with us".
