I Have an Announcement...

So one day we were in Goodwill just looking around. Because of some news we had gotten just a couple days previously, when I found this book I had to get it for my hubs. 

Yes, yes...eta for our first grandchild is April 28,2023.   Our daughter-in-law was having a pretty easy go of it until this past week. She's had some issues with blood pressure and blood sugar...and even fainted once. She is doing better if she eats often and takes things easy. Would appreciate prayer that God will protect her and Baby DePriest...either Asher or Hannah, depending on boy or girl...or maybe both?

We have a woman who asked prayer for her pregnant daughter with low blood pressure. I don't know the outcome yet. Added D-I-L and baby DePriest to my prayer list.

Yes, LuAnne, I had totally forgotten to ask about your D-I-L and the baby! I'm so sorry and hope you'll forgive my lack of concentration. How are they doing? We're still praying here.

Sorry I hadn't seen this til now...

DIL (Sarah) seems to be beyond the sickness hurdle, we are all hoping. She's had a couple of consecutive good weeks (other than a cold).

She has found a midwife and has had a couple of good meetings with her. And she/Josh recorded the baby's heartbeat and sent it to me. I cried...such a blessing to hear it!

She only has one baby in there, though, which is quite alright. We still don't know boy or girl, but I have a feeling we're gonna find out on Christmas Day (we are having them and her parents over for Dinner that afternoon, so that would be a good time for a gender reveal surprise, eh? ).

My daughter-in-law is a doula. She loves doing it. If ever there was a woman's job, that is it!

We have acquaintances that have children who are doulas. They enjoy the work very much.
