My husband told me that in Obama's book, he clearly states that he will always support Muslims.

Does America have her head down a toilet bowl or something? Are we idiots? Seems like 9/11 actually ushered in a possible Muslim rule. I guess 9/11 succeeded after all...far greater than they could ever realize. All we can hope is that McCain gets some guts and exposes this guy for being the Muslim he is. I know McCain is no better, but I'd even rather have Hillary in office than a terrorist.

1. yes
2. yes

Mcain is no better----- agreed.

seems that even if his agenda is exposed, the compassion of this mindless country will just "let it go".

sad.

Obama's first book, written before he entered politics, is very enlightening as he seems to be writing from his heart.

Of course, that book could be potentially damaging to him (or it would be if the country were still sane), so after he got into politics he wrote another book and in the second book he makes some very poor attempts to cover up or clean up some of the "controversial" stuff in his first book.

Kita - I believe that it does say that, but could you have him point it out to you and quote the statement and the previous and following ones? I would be very interested in seeing exactly how he worded it, especially in light of his speech at AIPAC the other night, in which he told the American Jews there that as POTUS he would always be a friend to Israel.

When we say that McCain is no better - at least we know that he does love America. He is anti-abortion, pro-gun, etc. I just wish he would settle on a tighter border. He has said that the American people have shown him how concerned we are with it, and so he has done some re-thinking, but I think he still favors amnesty - in the form of guest worker cards (what are green cards and visas for, anyway???). I know there is a lot of baggage with him, but what would we get with Obama instead?

*sigh* Sure wish our media wasn't so liberal...good candidates would be able to get fair coverage then, and the American people would respond, I believe. The rank and file American is so fed up with the two parties, I believe that if the media would properly portray different people who ran (like Ron Paul, etc.), we wouldn't have to wonder if it will be Obama or McCain.

I really can't, we haven't read the book...my husband listens to talk radio and I assume he heard it there.

I do think McCain will be better than Obama, its just there are so many anti McCain people here (I don't like him much myself) I'm not in the mood to go there. haha.

The media really does run the elections, and the American people foolishly fall for it.

Oh, okay. Does anyone remember the name of the book? I know he wrote two. I might get it on ILL. Statements like that, from the horse's mouth, need to be made public!

The Republicans and the Democrats don't exist in my opinion...anymore. I really think the political party names should be combined at this point. :lol Maybe something like...Republicrat, or Democan. At this point in history, I trust no politician. As they say, "We are not a nation under God...but a nation down under." *Sigh* is right! I am waiting for the Lord to return! :pray

Thank you! Although...that would be too simple. :lol Why would Washington want to do anything the easy way?

We must be considering this is the same guy who refused to swear on the Bible when he became a senator, choosing the Koran instead (all the while claiming to be a Christian :puzzled: ). I wonder if they will let him get away with that next January? :bang:

America is stupid. Very, very stupid.

America is lost, very, very lost.

The farther America turns from God, the more God turns America over to her own wickedness. America is reaping the harvest of her sins as God turns her over to her own "wisdom" that God can reveal her foolishness to those with eyes yet to see.

There are heavy rumors, if not vague confirmation, that Obama is indeed choosing Hillary as running mate tonight...

Which will unite Dems...which puts us in a big heap of trouble.

Its beyond me how 9/11 has done nothing more than usher in more freedom for Muslims than America has ever seen. If he swears in on a Koran....well.... I know one should not hope for assassination...but....maybe after somebody gives him the Gospel? :tum

(JUST kidding....)
