Thank you for sharing.

Can you recommend some pastor or preacher who does not shout and merely discusses the Word of God, please?

Cheers and best wishes

James Knox hardly ever raises his voice in preaching. It is just good, steady, doctrinal truth. He is expository, which is always great to see a pattern over a number of messages as he goes through book after book.

Dear BBB,

I searched YouTube and what came up was probably not what you suggested.

Can you please be so kind as to send me a link or more info on John Knox, please?

Thanks in advance

BBB, I believe you mean James Knox, not John LOL, an easy typo.  I first heard him on the radio years ago and we had him on for a while with us when I worked in radio as well.  I too, enjoy him (and even have a two-part Radio Message series from him on The Deck Of Cards on our Podcast), but every preacher is different.  Since this topic has been rather derailed, I'll post the links to those broadcasts in another thread.

Oh, you sure are right! I don't even know where I got that from either. I see you are from McHenry. So am I, just a state apart.

No problem, glad to do whatever I can.  No, I'm not from McHenry, but it is just down the road from us LOL!  As a matter of fact, the message airing on January's broadcasts (took me a whole month to air it LOL), was preached during a Revival Meeting a while back, at a church in McHenry!

Yes, I would agree that James Knox needs to be read very carefully.

James Knox does teach different salvation in different dispensations, the gap theory, against tithing, fallen angels mating with mankind in Genesis six creating the giants. He might have some good stuff, but he also teaches the same falsehoods on those areas that I avoid by the other hyperdispensationalists mentioned. I find some of those same heresies in his writings and videos. To me, that makes him very undependable and not worth my time or effort any longer - as I have to reject a percentage of what I read or watch of his.
