Postal Food Drive

ON May 9th the Postal Carrier will be picking up bags of non perishable cans & boxes of food i nmost cities. The food will be sorted out atthe post offce then given to the food banks. If you live in a smaller city your post office my not participate in the food drive. This is nationwide. If your ciity does not participate you can always give the Salvation Army or a Woman's Crisis sheltr some extra food.

Feeding the hungry is something Scripture says we should do. We donate to two ministries which do this on a large scale as well as to local ministries.

OH yes if your doing that please don't give out things with glass. I helped years ago with my husband I dropped a glass jar of spahgetti sauce and I almost cut myself. These postal workers works fast sorting the fod out to the final weight to go on the truck. Some Area's The Food lasts until early August.
