Oh wow, that is just great! Did you make the cheerios or are they real cereal? For some reason, I was expecting an upright box but then again, that would be murder to transport...

Yeah well, the caterpillar knocked it down when he was chewing the hole in it. :frog

The cheerios are fondant...I thought about real ones but figured they'd get soggy and gross.

BTW did you paint the top by yourself, or had it copied on a paper meant for cakes?

I don't think it's a maggot. I think I recognize my children's old friend, The Very Hungry Caterpillar! That has been a favorite book in our family. Maybe the groom likes it, too.

The top is an "edible image" which I printed myself.

Its airbrush colors I painted on...thanks!

And the edible image thing is semi dry icing sheets that I buy, and then I have a printer with edible ink inside instead of regular ink, to print stuff with.
