There are some people out there that would challenge this statement. However, I just found John 10:28. It says, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." Whatever doubts one has, if any, this should refute them. Once saved is always saved. Satan, the great deceiver, continues to try to discourage believers new and old. Gods Word says "neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." So lets not be discouraged, but be joyful. Just my two cents...... :2cents .

This is very good, ts. :thumb

One particular favorite lie of the devil is to convince weak believers that not all of their future sins are forgiven. My question to them is how many of their sins were NOT future when Christ paid the price for their redemption. :ideas:

I never heard of this until several years after I was saved. There were times prior to that when I would really worry about my salvation and that's absolutely not something we should do.

Finally, I heard a pastor speaking on this topic. He stated he was raised that one could lose their salvation so he believed that early on. However, one night in prayer the Holy Ghost "spoke" to his heart and guided him to some particular Scripture. Thus he discovered the truth that once we are truly saved, we are saved forever!

As that pastor pointed out, if we were not saved forever we would always be living in fear that perhaps we might die in a state of being unsaved if we hadn't confessed enough of our sins recently or if we died while sinning, etc.

Thanks be to God that He provides that blessed assurance that once we come to Christ, it is the Lord Himself who will make sure we are never lost again!

Had to read that twice, but I got it. I used to believe that too. Some guy on "Christian" radio once said that Jesus died once for our sins, not twice, or every time we sin, deliberate, or indeliberate. Making reference to Heb.10 I believe. That can't be true cause we are still sinners by nature, so now theres two parts to us, not just one, because he indwells in us, and we are no longer bound by our sins.
