What is your favorite cough remedy? I've got that type of cough right now where you just can't seem to relieve the tickle no matter how hard you cough. :uuhm:

MUCINEX! That stuff is great...get the name brand where it lasts 12 or 24 hours (the cost equals out with taking the cheap stuff every 4-6 hours) and it stops the cough and gets the gunk out. Its the only stuff I take now when I have a cold or respiratory problem.

Sorry to hear that Katie. :-( Delsym works wonders! It is in the orange and blue box. The doctor recommended it for my teenage son awhile ago...and, it is fantastic. :thumb I hope you feel better, dear. God bless. :pray

warm water with honey helped me alot with the tickle in my throat.

Oh yeah Delsym does work good for that tickly cough...but it tastes HORRIBLE, it makes me wanna puke. haha. Those little gritty time release things are gross. We took it growing up.

They have Delsym in a liquid form now. :thumb I know...my son hates the the gritty stuff. He approves of Delsym - liquid...so, it must not be that bad. Me...I don't care, as long as the cough goes away. :smile

[*]1 cup boiling water [*]3 tablespoons honey [*]1 tablespoon vinegar[/list:u] Mix, drink once cool enough, but not too cool. The heat also helps kill germs, along with the vinegar. A secret recipe given to me by a friend who grew up in a family that traveled and sang in revivals. It was their secret cure fro any kind of throat problems.
