Thanks for the prayers, all. Got an MRI yesterday - results came back today. My brain's fine; so it's probably not multiple sclerosis or anything such as that. It's possibly blood pressure, as it's been out of whack. However, my heart seemed to feel weird (heart rate's been up) after all this started; that is, stress from all of this caused it. We don't know - that'll be the next thing we'll look into to. Possibly, dizziness, then a snowball effect.

Great News! I had an MRI of my head once many years ago and they said everything was normal. I've made sure over the years to stress that result with my wife.

Now, get that BP under control.

It's been a while since I've updated, so time for a new one.

We still don't know what's wrong with me (it's not blood pressure; not near high enough. Not sinuses - had an x-ray done today. Not MS - brain looked fine. Et cetera). I went to an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor today, and didn't learn anything new. However, early tomorrow morning, they scheduled for me to have two inner ear tests done, about an hour and a half's worth. Hopefully that'll tell us something.

This Thursday will be ten weeks.

I really want to be well.

Still no answers, really. I've felt much worse since the tests on Tuesday. The tests were horrible.

Please, please pray for me. Things are so difficult.

This has been the most difficult time of my life by far. And while I am young, that is saying a lot.

I'm sorry I didn't see this before...I was going to suggest a low blood pressure or something...that or inner ear problems but you probably already got that checked.

The heart problems are probably anxiety from the dizziness.

I have symptoms like this too but I think they're hormonal...which hopefully YOU don't have. hahaha.

Its always good to get things like that checked out though, as you are doing....keep us posted.

Heavenly Father, thank you that you are according to your name Jehovah-Rophe the Lord our healer. God we ultimately need you for healing...Lord please meet Joel's need for healing. We know in Job's circumstance it was the enemy to whom God allowed to do to his body what he pleased but not to take his life...Lord God, please if this is as such in Job's life let Joel be patient and continue to glorify you in this illness...Lord if it is something like Paul's affliction I pray that Joel will find your strength made perfect in his weakness...Father I do not know Joel, but you do and Father let this sickness in some way bring glory and honour to you...let his trust in your care for him be ever so evident to those around him. O dearest God, let it be said of him...Job 1:22 "In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly."

You are, Lord, who you say you are; Father you do what you say you will do we have no doubt in your power to take from Joel this affliction we rest in your sovereign care over our health...you know what is best as we conform to the image of your Son, The Lord Jesus...let us by your merciful grace trust your lovingkindness to us; let us reflect your grace to us at all times even in sickness.

Lord, too, he must needs meet the needs of his family and I know by your love for us you have taken this into your loving thoughts on his behalf. Psalm 40:5 "Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered."

Thank you for hearing the prayers of those who love you and who love the brethren...In Jesus name alone I bring before you this petition knowing that in him you do that which you will be glorified...John 14:13-14 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." ...Was this not written for us to believe? Love to you my Father and God...may healing be according to your will. We submit to your sovereign will and know that what ever you allow when we walk according to your precepts you are honoured and others see and glorify you as God.
