Yes I am going to start getting closer to the Lord again.

Hang in there, just do your best to keep your faith in our Lord. Thru difficult times its easy to back off from our Lord, that never helps.

I feel I can say this because of troubles I have gone thru. Be assured, I am not judging your troubles nor you sickness, or what your able to do

There have been so many times that at church time I could easily set back down in my recliner and stayed home, reason, I was in so much pain. I went thru a period to time from late 1997 to at least past mid 2002 that I went thru 2 neck surgeries that did not solve the problems. I was placed in the hospital 2 times because I was in unbearable pain, there were other times when I had to go to the ER because I was in so much pain. At times I was ready for death, for I know it would have been so much relief, plus I know what is on the other side of death as all of us who are faithful to our Lord does.

I still have difficulties on occasions, but Jesus kept me going then and He keeps me going now.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Phil 4:13 (KJV)

I know whole heartily from my personal experience this verse is true, for I have experienced the strength that Christ can give us, without Him there were times I would have thrown it all in, but He is my strength, He is my helper, my Rock, mu Bluckler. Plus, during theses times I need my Lord so close to me, my church family, along with them and the wonderful support I had from my wife, my church family and a very good doctor I made it thru those worse days.

Stay with the Lord, keep your trust in Him and my prayers are with you and your family.

Boy, do I hear you on that one, Pastor Jerry! Without Our Saviour and my church family (my support network) I am nothing. They are/were there for me.

KJVKayBeliever...again, I don't know the details (the Lord does, though, and that is what matters ) could it be that your church family is burdened for you? Sometimes, in my mind, I get to the point that people might be judging me...when in fact, it is out of love. "Tough love" sometimes. :smile I dunno. Just have those little talks with Jesus and he will be such a comfort to you. He has never let me down! Never!! We are here for you Kay! God loves you and we do, too.

You have our prayers and you have the Lord. Hold to Him and no matter how fierce the storms that come, the winds and rains still obey his every command. He is and forever will be Lord. Praise him for His love, power, and might.

Remember when Paul asked the Lord to remove a thorn from his side three times what the Lord's response was??

"My grace is sufficient for thee."

I often cling to this passage when I face trials and tribulations.

I 'm sure you'll get back on track soon. Maybe other Christians were concerned about your absence and missed you, who knows? But yes, hope everything goes well.

Acts 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
