It was announced in church to day that the founder of the RU program (Steve Currington) has died! He was only 45 or so, and died of a massive heart attack. he has written a few books with good, godly principles that steer men and women in the right direction. Most of you prOBably know that RU is "Reformers Anonymous" and deals with all sorts of addictions. It seems his work is done, and it is up to us to carry the torch.

BTW, RU is "Reformers Unanimous" not "Reformers Anonymous".

I don't know much about him personally, but the ministry he founded is an excellent ministry. We started it a few years ago in our church and have seen some good fruit from it.

Praise the Lord, Br. Steve will continue to see fruit in Heaven from what the Lord had him start while he was here!

Wow. Our RU has been such a blessing. The combination of prayer, scripture and counseling is wonderful. Praise the Lord for SC's OBedience in beginning this ministry.

We have an RU ministry at our church. One of the ladies that I go to church with mentioned it on her FB Saturday and we prayed for his family on Sunday during church. Unfortunately I work Friday evenings and have never had the chance to go to an RU meeting or participate in the ministry but from what I gather it has been a huge help and blessing to many people.
