Boycotting McDonald's

Why anyone wants to go to them anyway, beats me. Although I did go to a M a couple of years ago in France as My hotel charged quite a lot for WiFi (Fr Wiffy) and McD's offered free WiFi internet connection, so slow it was hardly worth it, though.

I really like the sweet tea at one particular McD's in the area. Overall though I'm not a fan of the place.

It's not that boycotts don't make a difference... it is that most people in today's society don't have the patience it takes to see the results... It can take months... in some cases years for the parent corps. to realize why a certain store is losing business...

If you are going to boycott something... make sure they know you are boycotting... if you don't tell them then they assume it is things like quality control or slow service... etc.

If you want to boycott mcdonalds then do it... but write to the manager at your local store and state why... and don't stop there... write the corp. office and tell them also.

I've been boycotting them for years for the damage they are causing to the rainforest.

I did write them - quite a while ago. And I got a nice little letter back about how they want to support communities. Haven't heard anything back from them since I told them the community they are supporting is calling for the murder of white people...
