One who rides a bike is called a Cyclist
One who flies an airpline is called a Pilot
One who commands a dog sled is called a Musher
One who drives a motorcycle is call a Biker

so why is a Race Car driver called a..... "Race Car Driver"?
why not a Circumferential Navigator??
