How do you read the Bible?

I also have a large print New Testament with Psalms in my car. Whenever I go somewhere and have to wait I read from this. I start at the beginning and read through and then start over again.

The first year I did this I was amazed at just how much more Bible reading I got in doing that.

I use a devotional called "Feature" that is IFB, and in the front cover of every issue is also a reading plan that takes me through the whole Bible in the year plus through Psalms and Proverbs twice. I really like it a whole lot, it keeps me focused, and when I find a topic that I think is interesting, then I'll study it out more after my daily reading.

Oops! Just wanted to add, that it is not IFB, I thought it was (picked one up at an IFB church, though, they have this doctrinal statement below)

I guess I didnt say in my last comment, but I DO read through in one year cover to cover . Been doing that for prOBably the last 6 or 7 years. And wonder WHY I ever stopped years ago, because of the strength God gives me because of it
Its really the only way a believer has to walk rightly with the Lord.As I said in my first comment you read through it within a year and study the same way .It truly is a wonderful practice.
