It seem to me this is very new to them. That verse is in the bible, but they have to understand why it is in the bible.Although, pastors shouldn't be blaming entirely on women on divorces. Which does seem like what they are doing... pointing fingers at women and not the men.

It is true that there are verses for the husband to follow as well as the wives...AND "keep silence" is referring to church...not home.

I have dial-up (because I'm cheap!) so I don't get to check these things out, but from the gist of it, it seems that it fits right in with other discussions on this forum. If only people, and especially Christians, would understand the blessing of being in the right place where God put us, what peace and harmony the couple could have together. God's way always works, but often we misconstrue it to our way, and a little bit of God's way, and then complain that "it doesn't work for us".

And yes, there are commands for the men too, but the traditional role playing will usually prevail for most prOBlems between the couples. Most of the prOBlem is that the women don;t like the idea of submitting any more than the man does being un subjection to his authorities. I guess it is human nature to rebel against certain things that go against our grain.

So true. so many just cannot stand it, they seem bent towards doing that which pulls them out of the position that God has made for them, when they do this, they bring no glory to God.

Everyone, or that is most everyone, rebels aghast authority, just as Adam and Eve did.
