Heads Up.... Travel tip - We returned to a very hot hotel room tonight. Unit is controlled by a wall thermostat. Thermostat is set on 65. Temp is 78 in room. We go front desk to ask about changing room. "Oh... Have you been gone?".. the clerk says. Turns out the thermostat has a motion sensor and even though set on 65 it shuts off if there is no movement in room. "Don't worry." She says. It will cool down now that you are moving around in room. "That's fine." I say. "But how does it keep going when we sleep?" I said. No timeline, no report, no grade, no requirements! Pick a word from the Bible, I'm doing "grace" at the present. I started about 3 weeks ago. I created a document to record what I found. I went to Websters 1828 and categorized the definitions into groups. I then coded all the scripture passages into one of those groups. I counted how many times grace appeared in scripture passages. I used an online KJV search engine to find them all. Then I broke them out for OT and NT. Looked at first and last OT use then, first and last NT use. I had not paid much attention to this until recently when 2 different people from our church told me that they had to request that more federal taxes be withheld from their paychecks so they would not owe come next April. Very soon I will be changing the board software that OB is using from phpBB to MyBB. The following is what I will be converting over. 1) All members 2) All posts and post counts 3) Private Messages 4) Forums 5) Usergroups 6) Signatures What I will not be transferring over is avatars. So you may want to save a local copy so that you you can upload it again once the new software is in place. Because of the different ways dev's code programs, you may notice that your signature looks really huge or small after the conversion. Don't panic, just go into your new UCP and make the changes. Would love to hear some thoughts from others. When Jesus rose from the tomb and Mary went to touch him, Jesus said "touch me not", he hadn't ascending unto the father. That evening, appearing before the disciples, Thomas doubted and Jesus told him to touch him, so he'd know it was really him. Had Jesus already went and sprinkled his blood on the mercy seat and then came back in that same day? Thoughts and references would be appreciated.

Ebonics bible search directs you to this topic. 2) Another top search where people find Online Baptist is from the phrase "chatroom indenpent baptist". This one I found amusing. Google search for this phrase. Over a hundred people misspelled independent to bring traffic to OBL. 3) The top 3 browsers. Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
