We want everyone to be aware that it is absolutely legal for the government to include a Nativity or other religious symbols of Christmas in a city holiday display that also includes secular items like snowmen, reindeer or Santa Claus. I have been reading much on this board about a changed life with salvation. I too believe that there will be a change according to 2 Cor. 5:17, and maybe a few other verses, but I have two observances to make concerning the changed life: one, The Lord makes the change. Too many of us do the changing ourselves because we know that there must be a change. This "change" becomes a work on our part, and not of the Holy Spirit. New Burial Method: ‘Liquefaction’ A Glasgow-based company has installed its first commercial “alkaline hydrolysis” unit at a Florida funeral home. The unit by Resomation Ltd is billed as a green alternative to cremation and works by dissolving the body in heated alkaline water. Why is it that we ask others for prayer, but seldom ever update them when they pray? I see many prayer requests, but when I pray, I do not to hear anything more about it! Has God answered favorably, or not? If we are concerned enough to ask our brothers and sisters to pray, why not show the same consideration for those who have undertaken the task?

Why do old people say they don't need an hearing aid, when they obviously do? And why do they always sit at the back? A lady in her 90s said at church on Sunday, that she could never hear the sermon. I said if she had a hearing aid she would hear on the loop system. She replied that she did not need and aid, and that she could hear her TV. I asked how loud she had the volume? Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh? -

Excellent it’s over, I noticed that many pastors were disturbed, with the elections this year, more than ever before, and they were preaching to reinforcing being a conservative, it was a priority for many preachers, but now that is all over, preaching the gospel for salvation should take its place. Well, I agree with knowing you are a sinner before salvation and by free will, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. So that's not really calvinism. -
