I got a job with my Aunt Maria in Northern Virginia (Centreville, Fairfax County). It's an internship for her information securities company. I was hoping you could pray that I find a good church to go to while I'm there. I found a couple churches online, but I want God to send me to the right one for me. I also would like prayer that I could lead my aunt's family to the Lord while I'm there. I'll be living with my aunt, uncle, and three cousins. One of my cousins is only 10, and I think she would be pretty open to salvation and I don't want to miss the oppurtunity.

We got the van last year (using money from my wife's 401k, which we are now paying for with a minuscule tax refund) because our previous car's transmission went out. I was trying to take my oldest to a tech fair at the vo-tech and it started losing power. I pulled off the road turned it off, and called my wife to tell her to try to find some other way to get to work in the morning. When I started the van back up none of the gears would work. I called AAA, but as I went outside I noticed a lot of transmission fluid on the ground, and sprayed on the passenger side of the van. That was at 5pm, it's 7pm now and I just got home. Please pray for my daughter, Dani. We all have colds and some with a fever for a few hours, but my 15yr. old has had a fever for a couple of days and this morning she woke up with 104.1. Even 2hrs. after she took ibuprophen it was 101.4. She has a dr. appt. this morning. Pray that they will be able to figure it out. I went in sick with this same cold, had a super bad sore throat for over a week that tested negative for strep and they didn't do anything but tell me it was a bad virus. We took the family out for a drive by the river near our house to look for eagles, turkeys, and deer. We saw the turkeys and eagles, but no deer. On our way home, Jonathan started to fuss saying he needed to go potty. We stopped and set up the travel potty seat, and I felt Jonathan's head - it was cold and clammy. That is when Jonathan started his tell-tale fussing and we had only a few seconds before we knew he was going to throw up. Sure enough, he did, but thankfully he did it in a cup we had in the van. I really hope he is not getting sick again. He hasn't thrown up for a while now. He is back to his normal self at the moment.

I noticed my son had a weak left eye so my wife took him in to see an eye specialist. They said he'll need surgery. Hes not using certain muscles in his eye. Wife was pretty distraught, ready to cry when coming to tell me at work. She said no child should have to go though a surgery when they're 4 yrs old. I can't agree more, but if he dose'nt have this surgury he'll go blind in that eye. Wife is real nervous about it. I'm trying to be hopeful. Thanks in advance for your prayers.......

My brother was driving last night and there was a man slowly crossing an unlit street wearing black clothes. My brother saw him when it was too late and stepped on the brakes and tried to swerve as much as possible to the left, but there was another car there, so he still ended up hitting the man. My brother said the speed limit there was 40 and that's what speed he was traveling at. The man was looking down and didn't react when he heard/saw the car coming so my brother thinks perhaps the man was drunk. We left RU nursery a little early because Jonathan was showing signs of being sick like he was last time. He starting fussing and then gagging. Right now, he is in bed sleeping. Elizabeth is at work, and I am home alone with the kids. I really don't feel like cleaning up any messes tonight.

Please pray for my friend, she has been telling me she was depressed and suicidal, and tonight I think she tried to kill herself. We called the police and they sent a car over, but we haven't heard back. Please pray she is alright, and won't hate me for calling the police.

For several years I been having problems with my Time of the months very heavy. Some months were bad and some months were Good. I needed an D and C back 2003 and I had a cold and never got it done. Then I started getting worse with this and tried Birth Control to help stop the Bleeding. Monday morning I am going in to get a D and C done and I want you to pray I don't develop a cold or anything. This will give us some ideas why I am having problems in that area. Also on a side note pray that I can make better choices in foods after this procedure. So I can get healthy for a baby in a year or two.

Today, it is Nathaniel's turn. We were at church tonight, and Nathaniel was sitting by Elizabeth. He was very tired looking and was laying on her lap - that is not like Nathaniel. My daughter is stationed in Hawaii and there is a young soldiers wife (Debbie) in her Sunday School class that has had cancer twice in the last couple years. Debbie was doing pretty good then she got sick on CHRISTmas eve and had to be hospitalised and she has gotten worse daily. Her parents are on their way over to Hawaii and will arrive at about 8:00 our time about 4:00 Hawaii time. This may be low priority, but I thought ya'll would want to prayer for it if you had time. I own the domain NeedsYourPrayers.com. I've been wanting, for a long time, to create a site where people could post prayer requests and others could find people in need of prayer to pray for. The idea is that the prayer warriors would "subscribe" to a request, then be emailed each day with the list of their requests. Please pray for me, I have a lot of fear inside me. I always ask God to take this away but it seems that it always come back over and over. The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -

My niece sent me a text yesterday telling me that my father had asked for her pastor to come out to the house to talk to him about eternity. He admitted that he was a sinner and needed the Lord, and he asked the Lord to save him. Praise the Lord for answered prayers. -

Yes, I have a pastor friend in the Independence, MO area that spoke against this often. I've got an aunt and uncle in O'Fallon, MO who could be on either side of the issue.
