True, if nothing else there is always the weather to talk about! It's getting windy again here.

That's probably why there are so many conversations about weather in church! Sometimes it seems I hear more conversations about weather and sports among folks talking in church than I ever do about anything to do with Christianity.

Right on! And you never know, if a conservation is started by bringing up the weather, it could lead to telling someone about Jesus crucified.

I've used cows to bring up the Gospel. We see cows on a hill in the country and I'll say, "You know, God owns the cattle on a thousand hills...and there's some of them." That has often opened the door.

I reared this might have sunk out of sight, so I thought I would rescue it. Its 45º at my house. And so far this season, we have not had that 1st killing frost. There has been frost on at least 4 or 5 mornings, yet not that killing frost. I believe they said it might get down to 32º. tonight.

It's cold here this morning. I've not been out yet but just by the temperature in the house I know it got cold out last night.

Brings back thoughts of yesterday years, if a glass of water was left on the kitchen cabinet, & it dropped below freezing, it would freeze & bust.

And when my bare feet would hit that cold floor, I would pop back under the cover.
