Sleep, or search if you will, you won't find any other religion where God dies for you. Any other religion would have you die to show loyalty to their god. A very remarkable occurrance it was. Only God himself could come up with Christianity.

The poor guy. Lets not forget this:

Romans 5:6-8 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Matthew 5:44-48 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

I have to slow down 'cos I ain't getting any younger but as I get older I find it harder to stand by without challenging what I know to be false.

If what you are challenging is "false," is what you believe "true?" How do you know? If, as you have said, there is no meaning, no truth, then why do you care?

It's logical. I go with Dawkins. Nothing particularly bad has happened in my life. I haven't believed in anything since I was a child and I am at a loss to understand how anyone can believe in gods. I am fed up with religions dictating how we live our lives and what is acceptable.

A question, who is forcing God on you?

Jesus never forces His Self on no one.

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Rev 3:20 (KJV)

In other words, He only comes in if He is invited.

Hello again. It's early afternoon here and my football team had just done the double over their rivals for the first time in 97 years. I hope to have some time to answer your points but can I just leave you with this from the Yoism website;

Since I am all-knowing I know exactly what the humans are doing and I understand exactly why they commit each sin. Since I created the humans in my own image and personally programmed human nature into their brains, I am the direct author of all of this sin. The instant I created them I knew exactly what would happen with every single human being right down to the nanosecond level for all eternity. If I didn't like how it was going to turn out, I could have simply changed them when I created them. And since I am perfect, I know exactly what I am doing. But ignore all that. I hate all these people doing exactly what I perfectly designed them to do and knew they would do from the moment I created them...
So here's what I am going to do. I will artificially inseminate a virgin. She will give birth to an incarnated version of me. The humans will eventually crucify and kill the incarnated me. That will, finally, make me happy. Yes, sending myself down and having the humans crucify me -- that will satisfy me. I feel much better now.

God looked ahead; He knew the will He gave men would lead to their disobeying Him. God knew man and self-will is a hard-headed and hard-hearted combination. God allowed us to have the opportunity to know choice; an attribute God possesses. Genesis 1:26 ?And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:?

The instant I created them I knew exactly what would happen with every single human being right down to the nanosecond level for all eternity. If I didn't like how it was going to turn out, I could have simply changed them when I created them.

God also made a way to teach men they could not redeem themselves. God provided for the sins you commit before He ever created you or I. So to allow will in men, God must provide perfect atonement. God saw you from the foundation of His creation. Revelation 13:8 ??the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.?

And since I am perfect, I know exactly what I am doing. But ignore all that. I hate all these people doing exactly what I perfectly designed them to do and knew they would do from the moment I created them...

God has never hated man. The individual who wrote this used his own willfulness to imagine this; it?s not in the Bible. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This was the plan of God before He ever created man. There was nothing artificial about God?s Holy Spirit impregnating Mary, He really did that. Not in the sense of the soap-opera world of thought you live in now. Matthew 1:20 ?But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.? Matthew 1:21 ?And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.?

I ask again? Consider this and it's purely an intellectual thought. Who would make up a religion where their God and most Sovereign Deity, too Holy to look upon, would come down to earth, in the form of a man, lowering Himself, allowing men to kill Him, then go back into His abode to eternally forgive them? Wouldn't this be a stretch to attribute that kind of abstract thinking to people who you say are outdated and for the most part ignorant? You won't find any other religion where God dies for you. Any other religion would have you die to show loyalty to their god. A very remarkable occurrence it was. Only God himself could come up with Christianity.

I don't have to explain God. If I could, he wouldn't be God. He would be like me, not a god, but a man. It would be a poor god that could be "figured out" by the reasoning of his creatures. God's mind is so infinitely far above our ways of thinking...Trying to describe him or know what he is thinking would be impossible, much the same as (but "more so" than) a grasshopper gaining an understanding of what goes on in a human's intellect. If there is a Creator God who designed the intricacies of all organisms--the human body with its complicated yet synchronized systems; the vast array of other equally complex organisms of the animal and plant worlds--then it is ludicrous to think that humans, who so far (with all of their combined brain power, have been able only to discover and study a comparatively small amount of the things made by the creator, and to manipulate those things to be of use to them) could somehow, on their own, figure out the mind of that Creator. Such expectations are futile indeed. Such arrogance and presumption!

On a smaller scale, it's like a parent and a small child. The child sees the suburban street as a wide-open playground. When his father forbids him to play in the street, the child wonders why. He has no concept of the damage a car can do to a child. To him, a car is a friendly object, the "room with seats" that takes him to see Grandma. He thinks like a child. He cannot understand the reason for his father's prohibition. As a child, he assumes that his father thinks of the street in the same way he does: as a nice, open place to play. So, he becomes angry at his father, because his father is obviously denying him what they both know would bring him innocuous pleasure.

We think like humans. God thinks like a God. Unlike a child who matures into an understanding adult, we remain what we are: humans--the created--who cannot fathom the intellect of a being as high as the creator God.

You will never see it for the absurdity that it is. I am wasting my time.
