Guitars!

I've played the guitar for about 2 1/2 years. I play in church sometimes for offering and specials.

Anyone else play or have an interest in guitars?

I have one but haven't had time to practice. I taught myself to accompany songs with chords, and I need to get back into it but have been too busy with other things. I love stringed instruments though.

lol. Well, it will be part of my course load. See, I'm planning on finishing my BSBA this year. Then I'm planning on going to Korea for two years to earn some money teaching English and I'm going to try to get my MSM while I'm there. I'm gonna come back to America after two years and try to get a Music degree at PCC in two years. Thus, the piano, violin and trumpet because my focus will be trumpet.

If you're going to take music at PCC, then most likely you'll have my brother as a teacher for a class or two!

His name is Mr. Soule (Greg to me!), and he teaches some music theory classes and private piano. I think he's also taught a class on piano tuning, and he does a lot of arranging for the cd's they put out and probably for other music productions. He's very musically gifted!

There is a picture of him in the latest PCC update. He is holding a trombone and teaching about church orchestration.

Okay, I know who you're talking about. We have a Korean friend of ours staying with us after doing one semester at PCC and she was telling us about him tonight. I think he was one of her favorite teachers. :thumb

LOL. Well, it came up by her saying that she missed her piano teacher at PCC. And so we asked who it was and she told us his name was Mr. Soule. :smile

It is really nice to talk about guitar with all musician.I was searching for this forum to have talk about.Well i have lot of craze for guitar from my childhood but i have joined guitar class recently as where i was living in city over there no guitarist and no class of guitar was there so i moved to another only for learning it.I have to contribute something in music and to fulfil that dream it became my hOBby to learn and play guitar.
