Psalms has me 99% convinced.

I'd also go with the previous suggestion from the same person to attach a separate "from" card to the gift, this was also suggested by someone at work.

Still taking thoughts though.

In this case I'd let it go but at the same time put a plan in place (in my head) to preclude it from ever happening again.

That's the way I'm going.

Card stands. Separate "from" label on the gift.

Major drama at work anyway... none related but way way way way way way out of line, and coming from someone who goes to my church.

Oh... nice testimony. I like that... you work hard, fight the good fights, put up with so much, then someone who attaches their name to you goes and does something so horrible, a gun shows up on your list of possible ways to deal with it. (kidding of course)

YEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

who has two thumbs and gives follow up?

THIS GUY!!!!!!! (holds both thumbs up at himself)

ok so not only did I leave the card as is, I grabbed the couple other people who didn't wanna chip in, and had em sign

I then wrote on the gift "from" and put everyone who chipped in

My boss went to each person, thanking them for the gift. Every person who chipped in was very happy to make our boss happy. This guy gives a lot for us, and it's great to give back.

HA HA HA..... as the boss thanked people, the SAME GUY who started the problems... infront of the boss, started into me with "WHY DIDN'T YOU COME TO ME FOR MY MONEY MAN.... YOU COULDA blah blah blah" I just looked at him as said "everyone left the money in my box, as you could of......" SO he of course presses it.. and I politely but firmly made sure that no... the truth is the truth.

It was funny. See, my boss isn't stupid, and he found some entertainment in this back and forth. The gift wasn't for credit, it was to show that we recognize, and appreciate, what he does for us. It wasn't about money, nor good favor, it was about giving to my boss the feeling that we are out for him, as much as he is out for us. He knows who is out for just a pay check for as little work as possible, and he found it funny that someone he knew as a cad, tried to put on a show, and I wouldn't let him.

ROLF, oh man.. if I gave you the full story, I'd have to post is testimoneys... cuz I'll just say a "snake" who tried to pawn himself as a christian, a member of my church, as a friend of mine, did horrible things. It's tied into the same story, but it was brought up for one sentence that "my boy" did.. blah blah blah... and I made quick to say no no no. Well, if he goes to jail, it's his reep... and God blasted truth so far around this place even I learned tons.

The bible is right.

Vengence is mine sayeth the Lord... but personally I've learned, it's not until you get to the point where you're ok with even blessings being on them, that God moves. Don't matter what they do, God knows how to best deal with it, and if blessing them is best, He'll do it and it's great. I do feel bad that bad things come upon those I've talked about, but at the same time, at least I know it's only as bad as needed, and God knows perfect judgment so yippy yea ya ya no unfair treatment of anyone! God loves them as much as me so GOD BLESS good things on everyone!

I just love God moving on things.

He waits sometimes... sees what you will do.

You grind your teeth.... you don't stop loving Him.... He's not looking for the point you'd stop loving Him, He's looking for the point you'd stop loving others.

Once you forgive............. OH MAN IT'S LIKE A TITLE WAVE of God moving on your life.

And I know so many who "shake their fist at God" and it's the #1 thing that sickens me. how.....................................

seriously................. how.
