Did Adam Have A Priestly Position?

He contrasts the verbs of Genesis 2:15 with the verbs in Numbers 3:7-10. Adams job description with that of the Levitical Priesthood.

I thought the possibility intriguing enough to garner thoughts from others. Adam the first created priest! Personally, having yet to compare other scripture, I will be looking further.

There was no Levitical priesthood at that time. That, plus the fact that there was no reason for a priesthood at that time since there were no other people. A Priest intercedes for others.

It was only a contrast not a coronation. If the initial description was activity and responsibility toward God and not toward men, then I still think its possible,
