Well Boris Johnson had his last speech yesterday, let’s see what happens now, not with Mr. Johnson, but with UK. They forced a strong man, out of office. After thanking  everyone that served under him, he said hasta la vista baby, and left. Now the next Prime Minister is between a woman and a man, the man that was the backstabber that walked out of the office while on duty, I hope that this lady might wins, Liz. There still might be a little hope for them.  ?

I think they'll survive. If I'm not mistake, Mr. Johnson still have until his successor is chosen to try and shape history in the UK. I don't think he'll be very successful at moving his agenda forward, but, I do believe it gives him time set up some challenges for his successor.

Putin, has his foot on the gas pedal now watch the news and see what he is doing now. There’s no one else over there that will take the lead against Putin in Europe. It’s their territory or land that is in danger. Watch and see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

I truly don't think that Putin is going to go up against NATO. That might prove unhealthy for the Russian people. There are some who will stand up to Putin. Truly, I don't know where you get some of your political ideology or information, but its just not historically or feasibly sound.

Morales, I'm only about 1/16th Italian...Most of me is Irish, followed by Moroccan/Spanish, then Cherokee. Believe it or not, I've got some African American in me, too! I do love meatballs, however! And I've been involved in politics for so long, and have run for office once or twice. Ideas are like belly buttons...everyone has one. ?

I believe many of us here are of many different backgrounds. I don't think I know of anybody who has a past lineage that is a straight line! ? It would be pretty crazy if they did....LOL

Elections every where, great. The World is in trouble, and we have to worry now, about who is coming up next, to make mayor decisions.

God help us.

Is the world in any worse shape than it was under the Roman Empire or any of the previous empires? Elections are a part of the natural order of things, even in socialist or communist nations, to try and give the look of legitimacy to the reigning government. God helps those who seek him. He also is the one who puts each government into place according to his will.

Roman Empire: Overbearing government control, immoratity abounding, sexual deviation accepted, Christians being killed for their faith....

The world today: Overbearing government control, immorality abounding, sexual deviation accepted, Christians being killed/persecuted for their faith....

Don't see much difference, Morales.

If I wore sandals, you certainly could...but you'd have to wear a size 13 1/2! ?

Liz gone, time to bring Boris Johnson back. He is there best choice, and Boris, is seen as a World leader. That gentleman from India, is a back stabber. He walk out of office, during Johnson leadership.

This is your opinion, not fact. Many don't see Johnson as a "world leader" but as a clown and incapable of truly fulfilling the duties of Prime Minister. Some are indeed glad to see Ms. Truss out of office as well. The gentleman from India had every right as an MP to remove himself from office if he wished. That doesn't make him a "back stabber." Let's just wait and see who will become PM this time and go from there.
