Amazing to think that my older brother got saved when he was 14 during a karate demonstration at his school. The guy would put on a karate exhibition and then present the gospel with an invitation afterward.

In our Jr. High school in the mid 70s, we had a karate demonstration like that and the man presented the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We had three people saved that morning. They were IMMEDIATELY put on a watch list by the principal. UGH!

Might have been the same guy but it would have been around 1968 for my brother.

I believe it probably was...there weren't very many karate experts going around presenting the Gospel at that time. It was 1977 or 78 when this guy came to Peoria Christian.
