I am writing to let you know about a KJV Fact of the day [although it is not always daily!] blog at http://wherearethejews.blogspot.com.

I am currently involved in research on word counts for Jewish terms in the modern bible translations, with a new book on what happened to text translations and the 'sedition' of jewish terms post -holocaust. Hope you find it interesting. ekb

I fixed your link above.

Can you tell me the purpose of your blog, and where you stand in defense of the KJV? I realize I only skimmed your blog, but it seemed a little hard to follow. Are you a born again Christian?

Sorry to be so late in a reply, but I did not see your question until now: I am infrequently on this forum.

1. Ardently in defense of the KJV, as the only defensible extant line of the preserved Word of God. God kept His Word. It is the natural text, inerrant, pure, infallible and true.

3. I am a born again Christian, having left my former profession to follow the Lord. I trust in the blood bought Salvation of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior without admixture of any human works. I am no longer Baptist, but spent many years in the Baptist church. I am not a dispensationalist.:clapping::clapping:

The findings in the site are largely consistent: two major historical events have impacted the true line of God's Word:

1. The findings in the 1850s and 60s of Tischendorf and subsequent retranslation by Westcott and Hort and a 'liberal' Anglican committee, of a 'new' Bible based primarily on the Sinaiticus, Vaticanus, and Alexandrinus texts, leaving out 80% of the extant manuscript evidence, and

2. The intrusion and influence of Nazi doctrine and theology in WWII primarily under the influence of the Kittels, Gerhard and Rudolf and Grundman, along with a committee of others and substantial faculty support at several theological schools including Tubingen, to align doctrine, training, interpretation, and Bible translation with the goals and thinking of the Third Reich.

My studies show definitively, that this effect occurred, and that most trends in the mention of representative 'Jewish' terms showed a decrease over time, although the pattern of change was pronounced in almost all terms, with a few becoming either erratic or greatly increasing. Change is the key word.

Another finding is that dramatic and statistically significant changes occurred within translation lines, e.g. Jewish terms showed a general decline or at least a change from the RSV to the NRSV and from the ASV to the NASV. The KJV and the NKJV are not as comparable because the NKJV is not a direct update of the KJV but more in line with modern translations.

Another finding is that there is a greater and statistically significant difference in pre vs post Shoah (holocaust) Bibles in Jewish mention and concepts, than between pre-RV/Tischendorf texts and post, although both show a difference. KJV in overall average of terms ranks above all and that is statistically significant also.

For any who understand Statistics, one thing which radically changes is the VARIANCE in the modern translations' verse counts. (Note I used verse counts and not straight word counts, due to availability of comparable search engines. Word counts do not vary greatly and show the same pattern.) This means that Modern translations are not consistent even among themselves and show wide variation in count and translation of certain words and concepts.

While many of these terms may be verified with a search engine, it should be noted that some terms may appear not to be mentioned in some translations, e.g. the Catholic Douay Rheims leaves the 'h' off of some Old Testament words or has different spellings but the essential word is still represented.

The whole of the research, and more needs to be done at the level of the Greek and Hebrew texts and historical antecedents of the Modern texts, is that the use of Jewish terms has either declined or become very erratic in Modern Translations, and it appears at this point due to the influence of the Kittels and Nazi theologians, and secondarily to the 'new' Tischendorf manuscripts. Other authors have found virtually thousands of differences in the KJV vs Westcott and Hort lineage of bibles (Burgon and others noted 36000) on regular terms affecting doctrine such as blood, virgin, Lord, Christ etc, but this study focuses primarily on Jewish terms.

The Deutsche Christen, the 'nazified' version of the German Church, developed during the WWII era their own Bible with horrid distortions, but that version is largely gone save for its use by some White aryan groups. However, Kittel, the head of the Reich Institute to reformulate doctrine, church history, training and the Bible, became the mainstay even in American theological training through his father's 'Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia' and through his (gerhard's) Worterbuch, or Dictionary of the New Testament which sits on almost every pastor's shelf in the US, Europe and other places in the world.

Pretty serious stuff. Hope this clarifies the findings.

I have to agree with Jerry here, whatever your trying to say is extremely difficult to follow. I guess your saying the MV's are "Nazi bibles" or something like that?
