Pitbull vs. Porcupine.....

A Pit bull decided he would battle a Porcupine in the backyard of his house in Southern California.

But being both brave and stupid, he ultimately learned the hard way that he can't always win.

No matter how tough you are...

A vet sedated the dog, and then removed a total of 1,347 quills.
The dog survived, and hopefully learned a valuable lesson....... but I wonder what happened to the purcupine....

Don't mess with Porcupines !!! :amen:

Some of the worst pictures I have seen of a quill covered dog was a pit bull who got into a porcupine. His whole head, neck, and shoulders were covered with quills on all sides... He killed the porcupine though... Pits are real tough dogs, just not very smart...

Well, I wanted to put the picture on here that came with this, but I don't know how to. So this post isn't going to be as good as it would have been. But, oh, well. :smile

We had a german shepher/Husky mix that decided to take on a porcupine. I don't remember how many quills were removed, but it was not fun. I was about 12 at the time.
