He must seek, as much as he is able, to create a happy, joyful, and enjoyable atmosphere within their marriage relationship, that he may find joy in and with his wife and that she may find joy in and with him. Thanks for letting us know this good news concerning Pastor Markle. Maybe it would behoove us to read, "God's Wisdom for Marriage and the Home," by Pastor Markle.

Actually, Brother McWhorter, it is in two sections of today's "Friday Church News Notes;" for Brother Cloud also quoted the book in the section entitled, "A Happy Home and A Devoted Wife."

On the other hand, I thank you for be willing to make such a public notification. I simply pray that the book will be used of the Lord for His glory and for the edification of His people. Oh, how very much our marriages and homes need to be in accord with the pattern of God's Holy Word!!!

Oh no! I was so "shocked" when I saw the first one...I didn't continue reading the rest of the articles!

Very nice! We have this book as well as the others Brother Markle has written. The marriage book is on our bookshelf, but the others are still packed...I can't remember which box I put them in. I highly recommend them (when I can find them, I plan to do a review in the book section).

The two main reasons I enjoy his books: they are steeped in scripture, and they are written in a scholarly way that is not hard to read (you know, like books written by "academics"). I appreciate the author's desire to glorify the Lord, which comes through very clearly in the books.
