On Trolls

As we all know they lurk under bridges to attack the unwary and cause chaos and wreak havoc.   Unfortunately they also lurk on the internet hoping to cause chaos and wreak havoc.   They seem to lurk on just about all forums, at least the forums I frequent.  Sometimes they are easy to ferret out because they become so obnoxious they can't hide anymore.  Others are much harder, being more clever lurkers.  Big problem, but is there any solution?

I have had my experience with many Trolls on Facebook, Larry.  When I give them the gospel, they usually disappear.

Solution? The ignore button.

Of course, trolling the trolls can be far more interesting.

I find it best to just completely ignore them.  If no one rises to the bait they throw out, they get bored quickly and leave never to return.

If we are talking about another forum, other than Facebook, I would say... "Don't feed the Trolls."

I don't know if you'd call them trolls but are certainly here on OB and bring dissention and debates which aren't fruitful! They're trying to change our mind on things not IFB and allowed to continue.

I'm not on here as much as I was because I'm tired of debating with people that we aren't going to change their minds because their busy trying to change OURS.

This site has recently lost it fellowship with other IFB's on here because of "trolls" or troublemakers and they are the one's posting the most because others have had enough.
