No spicy food but I did just get over the stomach flu.

Did you take any flu medication before you went to sleep?  Sometimes they will give you nightmares.

... or a guilty conscious, maybe. Demons influencing your sleep, uh...no.

I am curious.  Do you have any basis for your opinion, or is it simply your best guess?

Signs and wonders are long gone friend. Don't look for them or you will not only be continuously disappointed but also very confused. This is covered in several other threads

I can quote if I use Firefox, but IE 11 won't quote and so far Bro Matt hasn't replied to questions about that. Hopefully he will get to that in 2014.

Neither signs nor wonders are dreams.  Odd logic to base your opinion on...

Huh, who said that?  Let me clarify: the point is satan is not influencing dreams as if an attack on a christian. Demons aren't visiting any of us personally as if we are some special servant satan himself has to manifest himself to else we do some miraculous works for God. The Spirit indwells us so demon possession would be impossible IMO and logical sense. satan holds us down with little extra effort through the world and media. Overactive imagination, lack of faith in the written Word and need for signs makes us fall into these delusions.

The Lord is using dreams in a big way among Muslims in the Middle East, bringing many to Christ. Praise God!!

You serious? Well now, that would fall into extra revelation and outside the realm of Scripture my friend.

You would certainly be a life long 5 pointer if that happened to you.

Really though, where have you read this?

Upon what, if any, Scripture do you base this on?

Talk to some missionaries and other Christians in Muslim countries. This has been going on for several years now. Muslims have dreams of someone they somehow "know" is Jesus (no, they can't describe Him) telling them to go to a certain person and ask about Him.

The dreams are all very similar, and very simple. They awake from the dreams feeling almost as if they were real and they have a very strong compulsion to go and speak with the person.

Many are born again in Christ in this very way.

One of the Baptist missionaries our church helps support mentioned this thing having happened a couple of times in the Muslim country he serves in. He also knows of this having occurred among other missionaries he knows; as well as having heard and read about the same occurring elsewhere in Muslim countries.

You are correct, John.  Dreams and visions are of the OT; however, I have heard of Muslims coming to Christ through them.  I have wondered about this myself.

Also, a Muslim can be in their Mosque and be saved in a spit second while bowing down and worhsipping Allah.

Born again Arab Christians are also attacked by Satan more than any other born again Christian, as well.

This reminds me of Peter and the visitor (I do not recall his name) at his door after his dream.
