It would seem to me that O'Reilly is sincere and VERY wrong.  He's being led around by Satan, unwittingly promoting his plan because he has a false view of God and Jesus Christ.  Satan answers his prayers, wakes him and gives him ideas and has made him rich to deceive many.  Poor Bill thinks its from above when its from below, he's blind and cannot see.

I'll never forget one of the last episodes I watched where he said that there was no way he'd go to the same heaven that Hitler would be in.  There's no way he would... well, here's the link:

All anyone really has to do is read Bill O'Reilly's preface to "Bishop" John Shelby Spong's book:

The Sins of Scripture: Exposing the Bible's Texts of Hate to Reveal the God of Love

Yup, that's the title and it's just what you think it is. A book that claims many passages in the bible are downright evil. Not just now but at the time they were written too. Bill wholeheartedly agreed with this thesis in his preface.

I thought this blog post by Ken Ham was interesting.  I'm not quoting any of it, but just be aware that he doesn't use the King James.  Even so, he's nailed BO'R as being wrong.

So, according to Bill, we are to take pagan Roman, apostate Jew and Muslim sources as literal but not the authors of the bible.

Ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

When you already think you know it all you don't think there is anything the Bible can teach you. While Bill says he believes in God, his idea of God is certainly not biblical, and I would not be surprised to learn Bill thinks he knows more than God; at least when it comes to what is to be found in Scripture, because Bill rejects much of Scripture, therefore he must know more than God in his own mind.
