This was a blessing to watch. It's the testimony of the former serial killer "son of sam" who will be in prison for the rest of his life I guess. A few thoughts we had after watching it - In Old Testament times he would have been killed right away. Now he's locked up in prison for life, but after watching this testimony, both my husband and I had the feeling like "he should be pardoned now" since he has reformed his ways. But yet there's life consequences for his actions.

This also got me thinking about people who have life terms. Some of them must be very aged by now. I never thought about the elderly in prison before. Is there some sort of prison that's more like a nursing home with nurses giving medications and meals and care to aged people with elderly maladies like alzeimers and such?

I saw a tv documentary on him .He said he did not want to be let out because of his crimes ,and that he feels like its his ministry now to help others in prison .
I know they have elderly in prison I assume they get taken care of when needed .

At least this man has shown remorse .

I read an article about a man who was going to be uthanized and he mouthed off and said every bad word he could all the way till the stuff took his life .
That man showed no remorse

These 2 remind me of the thieves on the cross .One cursed and one repented .
