Just curious, but why do you call these homosexuals (or Sodomites) by their preferred name of "gay" when it's not accurate and a term they endorse for that reason?

Did you notice the homosexuals in California protesting all over the place, trying to denounce the Mormon church and filing lawsuits?

Of course you didn't offend me Suzy, I was just asking why since I know your strong beliefs regarding homosexuals.

My computer is running terribly slow (not sure if it's the computer or dial-up this time) so the link didn't load which is why I asked the other question.

I saw on Fox News where the homosexuals were outside some Mormon temple in California protesting and demanding the IRS audit the Mormon church because churches (tax exempt) are prohibited from contributing to politcal campaigns and political causes. The Mormon church pointed out they donated no money as it was their members who donated directly as individuals.

It's too bad Christian churches can't stand together as solidly as the Mormons do when they put forth a call for action.

I just say "gays" because its what is naturally at the tip of my tongue because its all anybody ever says anymore. I would have to purposely change what I'm saying to something else, just to make a point, and I usually am typing out too fast to worry about that.

I know what you mean, the homosexual lobby has done a great job making the term "gay" the most popular and accepted term in America for homosexuals. It took me a long while (not to mention a lot of effort!) to stop using that term. Once we get used to saying a certain word it's difficult to switch to another, especially when the other word isn't anywhere near as simple as the word being replaced.

In the Fox News report they had a Mormon spokesman telling the press it wasn't just the Mormons who supported Prop 8. He mentioned evangelicals and Catholics.

The Fox News reporter also mentioned that blacks supported Prop 8 by a margin of 7 out of 10.

You might be right in that it doesn't matter what we call them. I just decided I didn't want to use the pet name they invented for themselves so I either call them homosexuals or Sodomites because they are accurate and it helps to expose their sin.

One thing about many blacks, at least those from the inner cities, I've noticed many black males have a very warped idea of what makes one a homosexual. According to many of them, if a man "takes" another man, then he's not a homosexual; it's only the one being taken that's a homosexual. :loco

Members of the radical "No on 8" campaign in California have quickly turned their disappointment over the homosexual marriage ban into rabid hostility. Protestors have flooded the streets in Los Angeles with their sights set on the Mormon Church, railing against its leaders for their powerful role in protecting marriage. Together with allies in the Catholic and Protestant churches, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) was one of the main ingredients in Proposition 8's success. The Mormon Church's donations, estimated at roughly $22 million, fueled the hundreds of ad placements across the state that ultimately tipped the scales in the amendment's favor. Yesterday, 2,000 homosexual activists vilified the church, huddling outside the gate of an L.A. temple with profane signs and rainbow flags. Today, another march is scheduled for Temple Square in Salt Lake City, but the Church's leadership has no regrets about its involvement. In a statement, Elder Clayton said, "We believe it's a moral issue, and we reserve the right to speak out on moral issues." At LDS headquarters in Utah, leaders called for a ceasefire with gay activists and "goodwill" on both sides. Unfortunately, that message has yet to stick with the "No on 8" crowd, which has lashed out with unprecedented aggression against the faith community. Apart from the attacks on the LDS church (including ugly ads that depict Mormon missionaries invading the home of a lesbian couple and tearing up their marriage certificate), churches like Jack Hibbs' Calvary Chapel at Chino Hills have been spray-painted, cars vandalized, and police have confirmed at least two reports of physical assault. Once again, the Left is proving its unwillingness to practice the very "tolerance" they preach. FRC is proud of the example that the interfaith community has set on marriage. If the Prop 8 outcome is any indication, homosexuals could stand to learn a thing or two from the church on civility.

If Christians ALL worked as HARD as the MORMONS do...we wouldn't have ANY issues in this country. Nope, we would be sin free. Let's see...JW's work pretty hard. The Amish have been working hard for years. New Agers. Islam is working heavily. The list goes on and on....

What an amazing solution to a HUGE problem to battle the enemy for every sin under the sun.

Homosexuality would be wiped off the planet. LOL.

If everyone understood it is grace by faith in Jesus Christ for salvation...we would be the mightiest soldiers singing praises to Our Heavily King in heaven.

I can't understand why they think it is all about bullying. They still have their civil union.

I mean, I am sure they would feel the same way if two siblings in love want a legal marriage too. And the school have to teach to the children some kids' father is really their uncle and these marriages is normal (because it is legal and out in the open).

And you have the married siblings teaching their kids it is ok to fall in love with a family member.. and telling another person's child the same thing. In fact, because they are legally married, they can adopt YOUR child and raise them in that environment, rather you like it or not.

I've been reading that the real reason they lost is because they have gone to far on pushing their agenda on other people's children.
