I found your site while looking for some info online. I got saved later in life. Raised Catholic and it was pretty much a C&E commitment. (Christmas & Easter). I believe God wanted to get a hold of me and I wasn't responding. I was VERY worldly and had no intentions of changing.

Personally I was in a very rough spot and it wasn't getting any better, no matter how hard I tried. I was invited to attend a Baptist service and reluctantly accepted (I thought I had to "clean up my act" before I started church). I was impressed with the personal interaction of the people, so I went back a couple of times. My "religious" experience was superficial at best so I wasn't quite ready for anythng like this. About 6 months (March of '91) later I accepted Christ as my savior and He has been so very gracious ever since.

Not quite sure what to expect but I'm excited about the possibilities.
