My Mother-in-Law

We just got news this morning that my mother-in-law was being taken to the hospital again. This is the third time in a couple of months. The last two times, she had trouble breathing, but they couldn't find anything. This morning, her legs were very cold and swollen. She is 80, and has had heart problems in the past. She is saved, praise the Lord for that. Would appreciate prayer. Thank you.

Thank you - she is still in the hospital and we still don't know what's wrong....

Turns out my MIL had several blood clots in both of her legs. The doctor had taken her off Coumadin last month - and it was almost fatal. We were able to spend some time with her this past weekend, as we celebrated her 80th birthday. She is doing better, though is not completely well yet. Thanks for your prayers.

Well....my MIL is back at the hospital. She went in to the emergency room the other night because the spot where she had to give herself insulin shots was really sore. They told her to ice it and sent her home - that was fine. This morning, though, she couldn't move and used her emergency call button...don't know why she couldn't move. She's had heart problems in the past, plus those blood clots. When we were over there on Labor Day, she had a huge bruised area where she was giving herself the shots for blood thinner. They took her off that and gave her tablets, so that was clearing up.

Please pray. We know she is saved, and we know that we all have an appointment to meet our Lord. But this far away makes it hard on my hubby, too. Would appreciate prayer for my MIL, for the family - and for my hubby. Tnx.

My MIL was sent home - and they weren't able to find anything. But this morning she went back in. She's a lot weaker now than she was the other morning. The BIL that lives with her said he's not letting them send her home this time until they find something out. Appreciate prayer.
