We don't, Invicta. But we here in America (at least a good portion of us) love the country for which our flag stands - even with all her warts. And that's what flag day is all about.

Invicta,
I have never bowed down nor prayed to flag, and never will, but I have publicly displayed things I like and love. Check out some of the avatars on this page and see what others think to be important. Have you ever flown a MIA flag, or a U.S.Marines flag, or any other? What about displaying an NRA logo on your car window? or having pictures of a motorcycle on your walls, etc.? if one wishes to criticize, take it all the way.

Sorry, I didn't want to cause offence.

Here in England it is fairly common to have the EU flag on your car number plate. In most of Europe, it is compulsory. A few years ago some people were prosecuted for having a St George's flag as while it was OK to have no flag, if you had one, it had the be the EU flag. There was a bit of uproar against this and the law was soon changed, so you can now have the English flag (that is the red cross on a white background) and some just have the letters ENG instead.

I would not use any flag on my car. I love my country, but would not use any flag as I believe that they are all pagan.
