Methods of Gods communication to us? How is the Lord speaking to you?

Written word, preaching of the Gospel, prophecy, visions, dreams, devine revelation, nature, events, signs in the heavens?

Psalm 29
1Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

2Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

3The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

4The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

5The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

7The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

8The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

Methods of Gods communication to us? How is the Lord speaking to you?

Written word, preaching of the Gospel, prophecy, visions, dreams, devine revelation, nature, events, signs in the heavens?

At various times in my life God has "spoken" to me in many different ways. For the most part, such comes through reading the Word, preaching and time in prayer. I've had a few dreams over the years where I woke up with an overwhelming sense that I must right then and there fervently pray for someone in a rather specific manner.

Nature sometimes causes me to think of the creation and Creator. Sometimes leading me to reflect upon God and into prayer.

Signs in the heavens? The immensity of space has led me to sit in awe of God. Seeing rainbows brings to remembrance God's promise to Noah (and us), and have at times opened to the door to good conversations with my children.

Staying in the Word, being much in prayer and paying heed to the Holy Ghost followed by sound preaching seem to make up the bulk of the communication network.

God speaks to us through his Spirit, through the Bible, and through other people.

Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

He still speaks to us through His Word.

The "feelings" may be real, but they are not Him speaking to us; they are His impressing upon us of something.
