Yes, after Christ was offered to Israel He would still have to be cut off, and the time of JacOB's Trouble would still have to take place. The invitation was still to the nation of Israel in the book of Acts, and if they would have accepted it at some point there wouldn't have been a 2,000 year Church Age.

Offer?
Invitation?
there wouldn't have been a 2,000 year Church Age?
God's "plan B"?

Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable [are] his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of him, and through him, and to him, [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever. Amen.

Assertions without Scripture support are of no value.
Why don't you comment on Hebrews? Or Stephen?

Thanks, Rick - done.

I would like to consider one related set of questions:

Whether we interpret Scripture by dispensations or covenants, do all the old covenant prophecies & promises stand, to be fulfilled in a future dispensation?
or
is the new covenant a total fulfillment of the OC prophecies & promises, so that the present Gospel of grace 'dispensation' together with the NH&NE complete God's prophecies & promises, without a future millennium to fit in all the 'literal' OC prophecies?

Should we be guided by the teaching of Jesus & the Apostles in their interpretation of Scripture & the OC prophecies & promises, or is there a vast area - national Israel's future - that they are silent on?

[i get accused of "spiritualising" & would make the counter accusation of "dispensationalising."]
