I read that in the newspaper this morning. I thought it was interesting, too. Except that they lumped Baptists in with Protestants, so it's kind of inaccurate (meaning that the majority of people in any religion don't realize that Baptists weren't Protestants). I do think a good number of people don't know what their religious affiliation truly believes!

Some Baptists are protestants. The average secular person doesn't care either way. For that matter, most professing Christians don't either.

No doubt many professing Christians have no idea what their affliation holds to. Little wonder since most don't know what the Bible says either.

This is actually how we helped many come to Christ out of Catholicism. They actually wanted to be right with God and thought they were but when we pointed out to them where Catholic teaching doesn't line up with the Bible they realized they had been deceived and trusted Christ.
