Using it in a sermon, with mixed sexes, to show that men should urinate standing up I think is a little over the top, especially considering everytime the Bible uses this phrase it is in a negative light. I have no prOBlem with a preaching ranting about effimnate males, but I think there is an appropriate setting for some things. Talking about urinating during a sermon with mixed sexes, I believe is a bit offensive and vulgar. I actually find this conversation a bit awkward. I guess I think some things are best left said to males only and some to females only.


Thank you very much, Amblivion, for speaking up about this. I agree with you and have found this discussion inappropriate and vulgar. The point being made is valid, but I don't see any benefit at all in using such coarse language to make it. As Jerry said, "barroom talk is not a good thing coming from a pastor's mouth."
