So, when my Preacher was diagnosed with liver cancer the doctors gave him 6-12 months to live. He grew very weak within a couple months, losing something like 50 lbs. He had a tumor the size of a baseball I believe he said and it was too big to take out in an operation. Well, two weeks ago was the 12 month mark and he has much more energy and continues to not miss any services (when he was first diagnosed he missed a few to go home and visit family)...nothing since though.

Even with the medication he is on, doctors still didn't give it much hope. A few of us men of the Church laid hands and prayed over our Pastor during a Weds service which was very moving for me. Currently, the tumor is small enough to cut out but he continues to stay on the drug to see if it will get even smaller. Praise God for his new found health and for His will to be done, whatever that may be.

Glad things are going well for your pastor. I've got a friend whose name is Jamie, a Vietnam vet, who has been going through chemo therapy for lung cancer, one lung had to be removed. They just did a scan on him, no lung cancer, yet a spot has shown up on his liver.

The prayer said in faith still works.
