A local census worker in one week, less than a 40 hour week, received a check for more than $1000,00.

This person is on SSI, SSI is what people draw that did not pay in to Social Security. Don't confuse SSI with SSD, one who has been disable and has paid into Social Security would draw SSD.

Yes, she gets her censuses pay on top of her SSI. She also works part time as a waitress, but only cash, for OBvious reasons, if SSI got wind of that she would be cut off of SSI. But I suppose with census worker, its OK.

I might add, she gets all of her medication free. Those who paid into Social Security and are disable and or of age to draw SS does not get this benefit, only those who cheated the government and did not pay in Social Security such as she did all of her life.

How do I know all of this, he daughter works with my wife and she speaks openly about it. I might add, her daughter thinks her mother ought to draw much more from the government, yet complains about the income tax her husband and her pay in each years, they make about $98,000.00 per year which she freely tells as well.

Did I tell you she is a very bad diabetic? Her doctor dismissed her late last year, he told her, "I cannot treat a person who will not take care of their self, for the past 2 years he been trying to get her to buy a pump, she says, "We don't have enough money." She recently spent about a week in the hospital recovering from not taking care of self. Many days at work her sugar level falls dangerously low.

Did I tell you about the number of weekends her husband spends over a $1000.00 entering his oldest son in shooting contest held in far away towns, or the new $2800.00 dollar rifle they recently bought him?

I do not understand people, not the least bit.

Unfortunately there are several like that around here. One guy I went to school with has faked a back prOBlem and draws money from the military for that. He had to fight longer to get disability from SS but he finally got that too. He has a PO Box in a state across the river so he can draw welfare from over there because they pay more. This guy knows just how to milk the system and he does it every chance he gets.

Another couple divorced and then applied for all sorts of government aid and even though the woman had a good paying jOB she still qualified for several government programs. They got their house totally remodeled...siding, new windows and doors, new furnace and air conditioner, insulation, etc.

Several older couples live together rather than getting married because they would lose government money and benefits if they got married.

A guy a block away from us purposefully makes sure he doesn't make much money so he can milk the government. They are remodeling his house this year and he's so far behind on payments he might lose the place. Until I saw the notice in the local paper that the bank was planning to forclose on the house I thought he owned it as long as he's lived there. I can't believe after all these years he doesn't have that house paid for.

Of course these people love politicians who will promise them handouts.

Yes and yes, I know a few who have divorced and kept living together, bigger government checks.

A fellow veteran at the VA hospital told me one day how to collect money from the VA, I told him, if I have to lie, them I don't need it.

Of course people like him does not consider it lying if you get a check and or a bigger check from the government.

Yes, trying to excuse lying is okay to many if it's "for a good reason". Many times I've heard such proclaim that the government "owes them" and they say it's better they get it than someone less deserving.

Strange, the one who does this, he is a deserver, yet he will day others who do this are not.

So gents, what are we to do? I know of people who milk the system too, but I have no real facts, otherwise I might report them to social services or someone like that! These leaches drain the system so that those who really have a legitimate need are left out! Welcome to the Democratic American society!

Pray for their lost souls for without Christ we can't really expect more than sin to come from their lives.

If any happen to be in Christ then disciple them so they may learn to put on Christ and cast off such behaviour.

The largest user of welfare in this country is cooperate American companies and of course our congressmen helps them get every penny possible. They've got their lOBbyist working full time getting these handouts in Washington.
