PROFANE PREACHERS CONTRIBUTE TO KILLING THE CONSCIENCE By Marsha West September 29, 2012 NewsWithViews.com A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. – Luke 6:45 There seems to be a growing trend in the Church for the clergy to feed the sensual appetite through their sermons. What we are dealing with are pastors who have dirty minds and potty mouths. The word that best describes them is profane. 1: to treat (something sacred) with abuse, irreverence, or contempt: 2: to debase …

I think it needs to be shared what is actually going on at some of these places that are held in such high regard because of their affiliation with the Sword of the Lord. Franklin Road in Tennessee appears to be nothing more that an establishment because it certainly isn't a Church. They seem to have no problem with producing reprobates and sin doesn't offend them one bit. How can a boy run around saying he is called to preach to get girls and then get caught in a closet on CHURCH PROPERTY with a girl and have her shirt off??? The Church covers everything and nothing comes of it because the family has money to give and the Church endorses the boy as being 'called'. Is thi…

Tara of the DoRightHA group states this: "Tara-Lee Green Honestly, I would love to see a team or legitimate psychologists descend on FBCH and report their findings regarding values/beliefs/control/abuse and other issues. It would be very, very interesting." I can see the hearing on this now. Judge: "Are you a legitimate psychologist?" Freud: "Yes your honor, I am" Judge: "And where did you graduate from" Freud: "Vienna , sir" Judge: "So you have a degree in psychiatry and/or psychology?" Freud: "Well no, sir, but I am a legitimate pscyho.....I mean psychotherapist" Judge: "Please tell the court your beliefs" Freud: "Your honor, I believe that mens problem is that …

Delaware: 1st state to jail parents who use spanking to discipline DOVER, Delaware, September 26, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Delaware has become the first state in the US to effectively outlaw corporal discipline of children by their parents. Gov. Jack Markell signed Senate Bill 234 into law on September 12. The legislation, sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Patricia M. Blevins, redefines the term “physical injury” in the child abuse and neglect laws to broadly include any act that causes “pain.” “This bill establishes the offense of Child Abuse,” the legislation states. “These new statutes combine current statutes and redefine physical injury and serious physical i…

Over the past two weeks or so I've noticed a change in the attitudes of many folks here. Folks who usually agree and side with each other have been getting more than a little testy at times. What's happening to us? Stress? Anxiety? Please pray for me, I'll pray for you and y'all pray for each other. Someday everything will be perfect when we're walking those streets of gold and supping with the Lord but we're not there just yet! Amen?

In the last few seconds of Friday nights high school football game they tell me our head coach got mad & was in the face of a referee, with his hands made into tight griped fist holding them at about shoulder level in front of him, yelling some choice words at the top of his voice in the referees face telling him how bad the call he made was while an assistance coach was back behind the side lines face to face with one of our teams boys using more choice words than the coach hollering at the referee, & assistance coach’s vulgar words could be heard quite clearly in the home team stands. Seems even 2 years of being a pastor did not clear up the football coaches pot…

Curious to know what are the view of Baptist regarding spirits. Since my early teens I’ve always had experiences with Spirits. I consider myself very well versed in the area of Spirits and the human experience. After writing/sharing many of my experiences and giving advice to people over the years I’ve come to this point to ask… what do Baptist believe when it comes to human experience with spirits. No it’s not something I’ve dabbled in asking spirits to come to me (they come to me by themselves). No I did not “summons” any spirits in my lifetime. No I don’t have lengthy conversations nor am I am medium. No I haven’t (& never have) been playing around with that “boa…

New Jersey Bans Smiling in Driver's License Photos Going to the department of motor vehicles can put a frown on anyone's face, but for New Jersey residents, smiling is officially against the rules. The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has cracked down on drivers smiling in their driver's license photos because their smiles could interfere with new facial recognition software. New Jersey resident Velvet McNeil told the Philadelphia Inquirer Thursday that when she went to get her license at her local New Jersey motor vehicle center, she was told she could not smile for her photo. Shocked, McNeil said she walked out of the center. "Your picture means a lot," she told…

This is a subject that has always been of great interest to me and has been a part of my life for many years… and that is the headcovering. During the years I was married I covered my hair the majority of the time. Exceptions were when I was home with my family. Once divorced I no longer covered my hair (not sure why). I can honestly say that when I did cover my hair I felt more of the Spirit and it was easier to be obedient to G_d. There is something humbling I felt as a woman wearing the headcovering, and it did make me more submissive. Not sure exactly why, but for me it did a great deal of good. I know this topic gets a lot of heat depending on what denomination you…

I had to go to a marketing meeting today. Lots of interesting information, but one thing stood out. One of the speakers referenced JC Penney's change of advertisement (he made it clear this was public knowledge). They designed a new logo, which is not bad looking. Then, their new head of marketing (who had worked at Apple, so everyone had high hopes) got them to stop advertising every promotion - 590 a year, to the tune of $2 million per promotion, to 12 a year, with the total of $80 million spent. Less money is a good thing, right? Well, they dropped their ROP - that is ads printed in the newspaper (not inserts). And their first quarter this year (Feb-Apr) saw a …

I may have posted this before but here goes again. This is from a man who is from South Africa and works as a missionary within the continent of Africa. He spent some time in jail in the Sudan for preaching the gospel. I'm posting this because some people just don't understand the threat that this religion is to the world. They think because they know of one friendly Muslim who lives next door that the whole religion is OK and shouldn't be spoken against which is a grave mistake. What Islam Isn'tBy: Dr. Peter Hammond FrontPageMagazine.com | Monday, April 21, 2008 The following is adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond's book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Root…

"A Rhode Island schools superintendent has ended the district's father-daughter dances and mother-son ballgames to comply with a state gender discrimination law, prompting some to complain that the move is an example of political correctness gone awry. Cranston Mayor Allan Fung said Tuesday he was "utterly disappointed" that the Cranston schools superintendent nixed the events in what the mayor called "the name of political correctness" after the state affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union complained last spring. The ACLU complaint in May came on behalf of a single mother whose daughter had no father in her life but was precluded from attending the father-daug…

Back in 2009 Docker's (khakis Pants) posted a Man-ifesto on their website. I remember when I had first seen it I was shocked frankly because you really never see any real in your face advertisement that goes against everything society seems to be today. I love this ad because it says exactly what most people want to say yet don't have the guts to say it. How do you see men today versus years ago? It seems to me that today's man = Metro-sexual man. I say no thank you to that! “Once upon a time, men wore the pants, and wore them well. Women rarely had to open doors and little old ladies never had to cross the street alone. Men took charge because that’s what they…

Listening to the news this morning I heard that there will be passengers that can bypass the TSA screening by submitting biographical information about themselves. To enroll you have to be a frequent flyer program member of US Airways or any of the other four carriers in that FF program. It is said with this you will not have to go through the liquid check or taking off your belts shoes and whatnot. Unfortunately you will not be guaranteed to not be picked out randomly for a search. So how much information are you willing to give TSA for the convenience of getting through the security screening quicker?

Is It Time to Come Home? By Patrick J. Buchanan Friday - September 14, 2012 Is it not long past time to do a cost-benefit analysis of our involvement in the Middle and Near East? In this brief century alone, we have fought the two longest wars in our history there, put our full moral authority behind an "Arab Spring" that brought down allies in Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen, and provided the air power that saved Benghazi and brought down Moammar Gadhafi. Yet this week U.S. embassies were under siege in Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen, and U.S. diplomats were massacred in Benghazi. The cost of our two wars is 6,500 dead, 40,000 wounded and $2 trillion piled onto a national de…

I didn't want to hijack the other thread with the question so I'm starting a new thread. I have a question regarding church discipline. From what I've read the IFB church disciplined is done differently then most all churches that we see today. Such as "...tell it unto the church". If the IFB church does as it states in Matthew 18:15-18 when a wife needs to be disciplined is it placed before the husband first or does the Pastor go directly to the wife? Just curious since in the LDS church it's really only when the sinner/individual goes to repent/confess their sin to the Bishop that any type of discipline is administered. I couldn't even call it discipline as I don't…

Former President Carter gives a message at the DNC in support of President Obama and then like a historic nightmare an embassy in the Middle East is invaded and a consulate in the Middle East is attacked. An American ambassador is dead, along with three American staff members, the American flag is torn down and ripped to shreds, replaced by a radical Islamist flag. What is America's first response? What seems to be an apology to the radical Islamists! Will President Obama follow in the timid footsteps of President Carter, will he continue with appeasement to Muslims or will his obsession with reelection cause him to say or do something he otherwise wouldn't? Some pr…

I have been bombarded by the ideas of leaving this almost seeker-sensitive megachurch I am currently attending. I believe some of the people I know there are real and genuine christians when I try to open to them my thoughts about how the church operates and that somehow, I feel like it's not biblically sound, they will tell me to focus on sowing seeds and we will reap genuine believers in time. That this is the best to reach out to the lost for they will not come if they don't feel welcome. But I don;t feel "right" about that.. Enlighten me please... For those who have been supporting me for my church-search, you may notice, this is still my issue. Thank you !

In view of the current "news" i thought this partial sermon might be appropriate at this time. (I believe I have posted it in its entirety under the "sermons" page.) “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1 Cor. 15:55) Never underestimate the power of sin; never over estimate your ability to resist it. Never underestimate the power of Satan. He is wily; He is deceitful; he is a destroyer. The devil has deceived every man that ever lived, since the beginning of time! No one has ever escaped his mighty grasp—no one that is, except Jesus. The greatest of men have fallen to Satan’s tricks; the greatest generals, conquerors of …

'American Bible Challenge' -- the best game show since 'Jeopardy' KANSAS CITY, Kan. (BP) -- I recently viewed the pilot episode of GSN's new series "The American Bible Challenge," an original one-hour game show hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy. It premieres Thursday (Aug. 23) at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Now, I've only seen one episode, so I may be putting myself out of a limb by declaring that this is the best game show since "Jeopardy." But I'll give you a few reasons why this show holds great promise. First, I must confess, I'm not really a fan of those game shows where people come on down, bouncing around as if they had just discovered the cure for the common cold. My fir…

I created a website about 666 and the RFID implantable microchips. Oh friends! Anyway, check out my website: http://www.666themark.com I was really fortunate to get this domain name. Someone had it before me, and I guess they dropped it. So now it's mine. There's a sharethis bar on there. Please share it! Thanks! This really isn't spam. It's just my way of alerting you all to the hour of the time. And none of us wants anyone to go to Hell; not friends, not co-workers; not family. Oh …
