    I agree. The sad part is that these types of people seem to flock together, ie, Dave Hyles. This church is within a half hour of my home. I have a friend who is a big supporter of this church and pastor. He now lives in Ohio now and is a good friend of Dave Hyles. He recommends this church, the Bible collegand the writings/Bible studies put out DH and this pastor. I've had to distance myself from him. There are several other churches here, in Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama that have had pastors resign or have fired their pastors because of sexual impropriety. And then we have had the high profile issues with Tony Evans and Robert Morris. Lord help us. So many wolves in sheeps clothing.

    A Tennessee Baptist pastor, college president, and former mayoral county candidate in 2022, charged with sexual battery and released on $200,000 bond, allegedly commits suicide. Reports are that he killed himself inside the restroom of a local hospital.     Lou Dobbs and his crew did a report a while back about one lady finding a cat hanging up in a tree and it had been carved up like animals are for consumption. David Muir made several interjectory comments disputing several things Trump stated. The other moderator did as well while soft soaping Harris. If Trump would have stuck to the issues instead of worshipping himself (the bloviating braggart that he is) it would have bode much better for him and for us. I missed it last night, but watched it this morning on YouTube.

    I was just getting back into voice acting again, but, I stopped because a lot of the companies out there are wanting us to sign contracts stating that AI can be used to help adjust/change certain portions of the work we did if we weren't available on an immediate basis. I'm probably going to do Independent jobs for reading of children's books, voice mail boxes, etc.

    No garden this year for the Lanius home. Neither of us were in good enough health to get out and plant. Our yard has only been mowed 3x this season. We've only done weed eating once. We have weeds over six feet tall around the house. I finally mowed yesterday and got 80 percent of the yard done. I tried to finish up today but couldn't breathe well enough to finish. I'll try again tomorrow.

    We make the homemade meat sauce because we both grew up with the watery store bought sauces. When we first got married 40+ years ago that was all we could afford. I bet I would love your brothers sauce. Tonight we're having polish sausage with carrots, potatoes, onions, and mushrooms if I can find a can of them. This will go for 2 nights for under $12. We went grocery shopping Sunday and our grocery bill for the week, possible 10 days, was almost $300. Milk is up over $3.25 a gallon, and bread was $2.48 a loaf. Most canned goods here are anywhere from 98 cents a can up to over $3.00 a can. Vivian nearly cried when they finished up the things on the conveyor belt. Lord help us if we have another 4 years of these people in office.

    No, they NEVER stop. I mean look back to the Scopes Monkey Trial here in Tennessee back in the 1920s. Scientists were starting to present the theories of Karl Marx as true science in attempts to discredit the Bible and creation. It's gone from that to what we have today. In just 100 years the Biblical account of creation has been discarded for the nonsense being taught now. Lord, help us!

    We have a poster here who is constantly posting inaccurate, FALSE, and defamatory posts all the while using . I don't know if they feel that this is going to get people to not stand against dishonest posts, stir-the-pot rhetoric, or often unintelligible posts. We know this poster can do better because they have improved before. I often reflect back to the days of other posters who did these same things. We've had over a year of this, ever since they came back. Like King David, I am tempted to say "Lord, how long? " This is mostly posted in jest, but a thread of truth goes through it. I will only end my post with this..... LOL

    More FALSE allegations from TGL! Shameful! Vance is FAR from being an actor. Eddie, you may not be able to see this, but I will say it anyway. You sound more like an operative for the Democrats, Soros, Iranians, or Russia. You're intentionally here trying to stir up trouble and many of us have called you on it. Still you persist.     The Cowboy Church that my wife and I associate with is one where NOBODY wears suits and ties but overalls, jeans, and an acceptable shirt...no $300 dress shoes, but work boots and not always clean as most have already been working on the farm. The squabbling among Christians over what we wear is nothing more than a preference based argument that is dividing and interfering with our mission.

    He did indeed. I have several acquaintances who are associated with the NIFB, and because of some of the hate stirred up through the group/sect, I have had to distance myself from them. I used to have a video of Anderson being arrested and fighting..I believe it was by the US Border Agency.

    And the MSM and the MARXIST left is already trying to politicize this shooting. I was watching an interview with the House Majority Whip on ABC while they were still waiting on confirmation of the reports that they had received, they pressed the Whip to say something on gun violence and the need for "common sense gun control legislation." He politely told the female reporter that he wouldn't be making any such statement nor politicizing the event until the evidence was in. She did NOT like that in the least, and later in the day she brought her interview with him back up she accused him of being harsh and unreasonable towards herself. Is it any wonder that most Americans no longer trust the MSM?

    Though not a fan or supporter of Locke, this is something that is totally unacceptable. Disagree with him if you must, but please, don't take the matter this far. Locke has also been in the news over his churches purchase of a property in Lebanon, Tennessee that is far better for his church than the tent on the property in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. I don't know if this purchase has been finalized or not.

    TGL proving his allegiance to Harris/Walz...his constant droning about Trump is wearing. The first president to support pot was Obama. He made it a habit of throwing patties in the White House peppered with marijuana and other illicit drugs. Does anyone remember the drugs found in the White House under this administration and the subsequent cover up that went on? TGL needs to realize as well that CBD and medical marijuana are legal in many states. Maybe he'll STOP with his constant negativity on this site and finally start posting something uplifting.

    My "knickers" are NEVER in a twist! LOL, That's one thing I dislike about communicating via screen and keyboard...lack of sight and sound in what is being said. I agree with you on your assessment of a"Christian " POTUS. This is something that will never happen in our lifetime. I'll go a step further and say that it will NEVER HAPPEN. Peace to you.

    It seems to be more of a Catholic, Lutheran, Greek Orthodox stance. I've only gone to two Baptist churches that held to a Friday crucifixion and burial.

    Again TGL posting that JD Vance is a Hindu, which is blatantly FALSE. He's been called on this before. His WIFE is Hindu. He was an atheist first and now is a Catholic. Seems like TGL is always trying to stir the pot with FALSE information or flat out prevarication. Sad, really... very sad.
