Aren't there something like 20 or 21 states with such proposals right now?

It sounds great but since the federal government has determined the 10th amendment is basically meaningless they are not going pay it any more heed just because some states pass some legislation.

Just last night one of Obama's top dogs was on the news saying the feds may have to force some states to do what they want in order to save the economy.

In the recently passed stimulas package there is a provision that allows state legislatures to take and work with the stimulas money even if the state governor rejects such. This is a clear violation of the 10th amendment, among other things, but there it is.

It will get a lot scarier, that is a certainty.

It is good legislation and John is correct other states have very similar legislation. I hope they get them pushed through. I would vote for it here in Ohio.
